We had discussed a few different ideas about doing another photoshoot, with some being a bit more complex and on location, but due to logistics and scheduling, we had to put some of those on the backburner.  One of the ideas that Sofia had was "my hair wet and a bit wild" and we decided very quickly that we could do that, had some free time, so did it.  Sofia is a fitness instructor based in Hull East Yorkshire so we also did some more fitness-based shots for her business.  A quick application of baby oil and a few sprays of water got the glistening look that we wanted.  With a high key light from an umbrella and a silver reflector below, rim lighting was done with two gridded stripboxes to prevent her being lost in the black background.  

Philippa is a children's author, and contacted me just a few weeks ago as her agent had suggested she should get some professional headshot-type photographs for use on the web, social media and in print. An exciting update: her new book "Inbound - Meticulous Jones and the Skull Tattoo" is now in stores! She came to my studio in Hull and went through a few different setups and looks so she had plenty to choose from.  As well as standard headshots we got some 3/4 shots, having a bit of fun and capturing her youth.  These are some of my favourites.
