Another fabulous party last weekend for Emma's 21st birthday.  I have been photographer at these events for this family three time now, and it is lovely to be part of it.  It had a carnival theme, with big top tent, colourful flags and Brazilian-style dancing by Innovation Events. We had a few family portraits, just before the other guests arrived, then it was time for lots of candid informal party shots!  Another wild bash for the showmen and women coming from far and wide to give us Hull Fair.  They sure know how to put on a party, having covered quite a few over the years.  This time is was a triple  18th birthday party at The Piper Club on Newland Avenue in Hull.  The ice sculpture was the centrepiece and was at least one source of the vodka shots! My job was to photograph anything and everything, keeping up with the partying!

Wow!  What an evening!  Post-COVID, it was quite a sight to see so many people getting together and enjoying themselves.  The marquee was put up in the paddock at the family farm, and fabulously styled to a Studio 54 New York nightclub. I even dusted off my black tie! It's nice to be recommended when people need a photographer for such events, and this was one I loved being part of, so was glad they'd been given my number!  Drinks were dispensed by  Bishop's Bar  of Howden, and the amazing performers from  Innovation  Entertainment  kept the party going all night, with stilt-walkers, fire-eaters, aerial performers and podium dancers!
