Wet and wild photoshoot with Sofia

Image
We had discussed a few different ideas about doing another photoshoot, with some being a bit more complex and on location, but due to logistics and scheduling, we had to put some of those on the backburner.  One of the ideas that Sofia had was "my hair wet and a bit wild" and we decided very quickly that we could do that, had some free time, so did it.  Sofia is a fitness instructor based in Hull East Yorkshire so we also did some more fitness-based shots for her business.  A quick application of baby oil and a few sprays of water got the glistening look that we wanted.  With a high key light from an umbrella and a silver reflector below, rim lighting was done with two gridded stripboxes to prevent her being lost in the black background.

Fitness and Physique photoshoots

Josh Tennant - personal trainer Kat has been competing in bodybuiilding contests all over the UK and she has done several shoots with me now, either in a gym or at my studio.  Having the gym equipment and environment gives that realism, whereas th...

Fitness photoshoot with Kirk Hales

Image
Last week I had a great shoot with Kirk, an ex-marine and personal trainer starting up his Commando Physique Bootcamp fitness programme in Hull.  He wanted some photographs done to promote his new business, and I had been recommended by a friend so got in touch. He had a few different sets of clothes that he wanted to use, including the obligatory camo gear for his military look, but gave me plenty of rein to come up with the shots.  If you want to get in shape, get in touch with him at his Facebook page here  and if you want a set of photographs to document your personal fitness progress, get in touch with me here
