Wedding album in Emerald Green Linen

Image
From the minute I arrived to photograph Helen and Steve's wedding, it was obvious there was a definite colour scheme going on!  "I really love emerald green," she said.  It was in her jewellery, her shoes, her bag, and even a little bit of emerald green detailing on her wedding dress.  So when it came to choosing her album, her request was not a surprise - can you do a green one?  I looked through the dozens of swatches available and found the perfect emerald green in a linen finish.  We upgraded to the embossed text in gold as the final touch.  And here it is!

Lois and Dave Wedding Album

Image
What a fabulous wedding for Lois and Dave!  The wedding ceremony was at All Saints in Hessle, and reception at The Manor Rooms, Drewton Estate. But this is about the album they chose.  They went with the upgraded metal plate and real leather cover, and it looked great!  The satin finish option is in my opinion a perfect choice, with just a little bit of sheen.

Mike & Laura's Wedding Album

Image
I had the pleasure of photographing this couple's wedding over the summer.  It was just a small wedding, held at the Guildhall in Hull city centre, with only a couple of hours of coverage.  They went for the digital only option, thinking they would just have a few of their favourites printed to hang on the wall, but when they saw their photos they decided to add an album! I created this album for them, supplied by Graphistudio, based in Italy, who have been making wedding albums for decades and supplying wedding photographers all over the world. Mike and Laura decided on a cover that suited their colour scheme and I did the rest.  They decided to upgrade to the leather cover as well, which makes for hard-wearing protection of their precious memories which will last a lifetime!  The matt linen box completed the package.

New! The Storybook Album from Graphistudio

Image
Wow!  Something new and very different, for those wedding couples looking for a unique wedding album,  The new Storybook album from Graphistudio is a massive step away from the usual neat and trimmed and books that we use.  The Storybook is more relaxed, like nothing you've seen before, with the photos printed on raw-edged art paper and sewn into the book. As with all of their books, they can be customised and embellished, with various cover materials from faux leathers to beautifully distressed genuine leathers, and can have names, dates or whatever block printed or embossed onto the front. To complete the rustic nature, the book is presented in eco-friendly packaging. Check out more details at their website and then get in touch with me if you want to upgrade from your standard album! Alison and Dale's wedding album - Graphistudio Original Wedding Book

Image
Here is an album with a selection of photos from Alison and Dale's wedding at Lazaat hotel in Cottingham.  This album was made by Graphistudio, based in Italy, who have been making wedding albums for decades and supplying wedding photographers all over the world.  There are so many options available that it can be quite overwhelming!  This is one from my standard range and still looks beautiful.  They went with a cloud leatherette in light grey.

Megan and Max's wedding album

Image
A lovely wedding album chosen by Megan and Max for their January wedding at Lazaat hotel in Cottingham.  They went with navy leather cover, with the colour matching their colour scheme perfectly!  It also had the optional finishing touch of having their names embossed on the front. Here is a short video of a look through it

New album sample arrived!

I was offered the chance to test out an album by Saal Digital and after a lovely wedding in January I thought it would be an ideal way to showcase it, so quickly got to work designing it!  Within a week it had arrived, just in time for a wedding fayre :) The Professional Line books are the upper end of their photobooks, with the Professional Line XT being their top of the range, with "eXtra Thick pages).  I was hoping to try the XT but unfortunately they only offered the other, thinner-page version. The acrylic photo front is lovely, and I chose the unusual wood-look spine and back in slate (dark grey) as a change from the linen or leather covers that I already have.  Once opened, the difference between this and my other more expensive albums became more apparent.  The high end matt pages look fairly clear - maybe not as crisp as a semi-matt or gloss - but it is the thickness of the pages that worried me most.  My usual albums have solid pages, but these thi...

Helen and Andrew's wedding album

Image
I enjoyed photographing this wedding so much!  Such a chilled-out lovely couple - lots of smiles and always up for a few more photos here and there throughout their special day, in July this year at Tickton Grange.  And now I can present them with their finished wedding album by Graphistudio, all the way from Italy! The album is debossed with their names and wedding date They chose a light blue leatherette for the cover (a first for me!) which went with their colour scheme.  With dozens of colours to choose from, even in the standard ranges, it is a hard decision to make!  As well as adding the USB of all the digital images from the day, they got the canvas, which is included in my top wedding packages. They chose one of my favourites (though I have many from that day) - a silhouette shot from later in the afternoon.

Rachael and Danny's wedding album - Hallmark hotel in Ferriby

Image
May was such a busy month for making albums!  Some of my wedding clients have been unusually keen to get their photos all laid out and printed.  Normally most people take a while to relax and think of anything but weddings, but just lately they've been on it (and why not?)! Rachael and Danny were married at Hallmark hotel in Ferriby at the end of April and had their online  photos to view within a week (my usual target!) but they'd chosen their album selection within a month! They went for a landscape format 30x20cm book (part of my standard wedding photography packages ) finished in a smooth light brown "cappuccino" colour faux leather.

Sequoia suede portrait album - Replay

Image
Having a real album to hold and cherish those memories just can't be beaten by digital media.  This album was particularly special as it was a collection of photographs of a much-loved animal who had sadly left us two years ago, belonging to a good friend of mine, and leaving a big hole in their lives when he passed.  As a birthday present to her mum, we set about designing the book, containing some of her own photographs as well as ones I was commissioned to take over four years ago, where I had photographed many of the other animals at their family home.  I was lucky enough to see her mum's reaction when she was presented with it.  Lots of tears and happiness, just looking over and over again. For the cover we decided on a beautiful sequoia suede -  as well as looking and feeling wonderful, it's colour was a perfect match -  all finished with a simple embossed name on the front - Replay.
