The thing about being young is, you get older!  When you are a child actor/model, this happens even more quickly than in adults, so to keep the portfolio up to date you need fresh headshots to give to talent agencies.  Our city of Kingston Upon Hull may not be a vibrant metropolis like London, Manchester or Leeds, but there are definitely some working actors and models living here and keeping busy, and coming in to be photographed by me! Here are some of my repeat clients who have been back to my studio recently for headshots and profile pictures.

Here is a lovely 2-bedroom barn conversion for rental on Airbnb in a rural village just outside of York.  I had photographed one of their properties and they called me back to do some more, as they have three properties in total here.  If you need somewhere near York but without the noise of being in York, you should check it out here

Will (and his mum) came to the studio for his first ever set of actor headshots.  I asked if he had done any before and he just shrugged and said "school photos?"! I asked them to bring a selection of outfits, and we worked through a few different looks with a variety of backdrops in a short amount of time.  Here's a lovely cosy holiday rental house in the nearby village of Cottingham, East Yorkshire.  I had been recommended to the owners by another property developer whose properties I had photographed a few months ago.  They had just finished the refurbishment project:  the finish was immaculate and was dressed beautifully.  Here are some of my favourites. At a wedding fayre recently I was asked when was the best time to book their photographer.  They figured they weren't in a hurry, because they weren't getting married until next year. I replied "As soon as you find the right one! I've already taken bookings!" With so many things to arrange when you are planning a wedding, it can be a very confusing and "spendy" time, and let's face it, most people don't have much experience at organising weddings, so it can be very daunting as to what to do first and when to spend the money, so I am hoping people read this and pass on some experience that I've gained from shooting hundreds of weddings! We photographers can only be at one wedding at a time (gone are the days of "a few pics outside the church then on to the next one"!) whereas services like cakemakers, dresses, florists, even classic cars, can serve several weddings in one day, so can perhaps be left a bit closer to your wedding.  It ...

I had a brilliant boudoir photoshoot with Chloe recently.  She came to my studio on Wincolmlee in Hull,  and brought her friend along for a bit of moral support!  She also brought a stack of outfits.  We had discussed ideas in the days before the shoot, so she had a rough idea what to bring, but couldn't quite decide until she arrived. She was game for everything, and we had a fun shoot, working thourgh various outfits (and some with nothing but a bedsheet!  She wanted to give some prints as an anniversary present - a nice surprise for her husband! As well as some lingerie sets, we did some more casual and sporty looks, so we had a good selection to choose from.  Natalja came for her second photoshoot this week.  We had previously done some fashion-style photos at the studio, after abandoning an outdoor shoot due to the wintery weather, but this time we had discussed a few ideas based on some more sensual photos we had seen online.
