Sequoia suede portrait album - Replay

Having a real album to hold and cherish those memories just can't be beaten by digital media. 

This album was particularly special as it was a collection of photographs of a much-loved animal who had sadly left us two years ago, belonging to a good friend of mine, and leaving a big hole in their lives when he passed.  As a birthday present to her mum, we set about designing the book, containing some of her own photographs as well as ones I was commissioned to take over four years ago, where I had photographed many of the other animals at their family home.  I was lucky enough to see her mum's reaction when she was presented with it.  Lots of tears and happiness, just looking over and over again.



For the cover we decided on a beautiful sequoia suede -  as well as looking and feeling wonderful, it's colour was a perfect match -  all finished with a simple embossed name on the front - Replay.

Home boudoir photography in the Hull area

  If you are wanting to arrange a boudoir photoshoot in Hull or the surrounding areas, instead of a shoot in the studio, you have the option of having it in your home. It gives a much different look and will give it more of a personal touch. It also means you have access to all of your stuff - all your outfits are close to hand and you are in familiar surroundings. As long as you have a decent amount of space and a relatively uncluttered room, we can make some beautiful photos without you leaving the house. Please get in touch so we can discuss suitability for a home photoshoot. Here are a few example images from a home shoot, using no more than light from the window and occasionally a small flashgun to fill the shadows, though all of these examples were just windowlight. Most of the shoot was done in the window area or on the bed.   We added some interest by with some water.  She got the shirt wet and splashed some on herself .

Model shoot with Natalja

 Natalja came for her second photoshoot this week.  We had previously done some fashion-style photos at the studio, after abandoning an outdoor shoot due to the wintery weather, but this time we had discussed a few ideas based on some more sensual photos we had seen online. She brought a selection of quite fabulous lingerie and worked to implied nude (even though she wasn't quite!)   Although she said she had not modelled before, she had a great look and took direction when needed, but was happy to play around with her posing.  Here are some of my favourites.  If you want to arrange a shoot of your own in the Hull East Yorkshire, get in touch through my contact page .
