Group fitness photoshoot at Peak Physique

I've visited Peak Physique a few times now to do photoshoots.  Located on Cleveland Street in Hull not far from the city centre, they've been established since 1996, and are proud to be independent, with a genuine family feel.  This makes my life easier as we don't have lots of corporate red tape to get through to organise these things - I just talk about it with co-owner Louise!

The shoot was organised and promoted as a joint effort between Peak Physique and myself , with it aimed at their gym members, but generously offered it to non-members as well, so we got a variety of people signing up.  

The group photoshoots are a great cost-effective way for people to get a set of photos to document their progress without the same outlay for a full-blown solo photoshoot. 


I would set up my lighting at one piece of equipment, then each person would take it in turns to have their photo taken at that bit of kit.  Once we had taken a variety of shots of everyone, I would move on to a different machine and we would do the same sort of thing. 


The whole thing took about 90 minutes with 4 people and we got a great selection of images for them to keep.

Business portraits for Jo at Aspen Morgan This job took me over the Humber Bridge to Barton, North Lincolnshire do some business portraits for Jo of Aspen Morgan Counselling & Wellbeing. She's an old school friend, who I hadn't spoken to in real life in many years, and was still just as lovely as I remember. She has her website built but needed some better images for content. She sent me some ideas that she has seen for inspiration, with quite a casual, friendly and warm look, and while we could have done something in the studio, I felt it would be better to do something in a more homely environment, with a natural look to the lighting. Home boudoir photography in the Hull area

  If you are wanting to arrange a boudoir photoshoot in Hull or the surrounding areas, instead of a shoot in the studio, you have the option of having it in your home. It gives a much different look and will give it more of a personal touch. It also means you have access to all of your stuff - all your outfits are close to hand and you are in familiar surroundings. As long as you have a decent amount of space and a relatively uncluttered room, we can make some beautiful photos without you leaving the house. Here are a few example images from a home shoot, using no more than light from the window and occasionally a small flashgun to fill the shadows, though all of these examples were just windowlight. Most of the shoot was done in the window area or on the bed.   We added some interest by with some water.  She got the shirt wet and splashed some on herself .
